This project comprised of 7 town houses over two blocks. 3 no. 4 bed and 4 no. 3 bed private properties on land which was previously the beer garden for the neighbouring pub, The New Inn.
Through a competitive tender process, EJT were awarded the JCT SBC with CDP for the full turnkey construction.
Construction was traditional load bearing masonry on strip foundations, with associated structural steelwork supporting the intricate and unusual roofscape design in zinc. Fit out specification was high with purpose made oak stairs with inset handrail channel, UFH across all 3 floors.
Highly monitored Architectural detailing during delivery, with tolerances of +/- 5 mm on certain aspects such as sightlines for balcony metalworks, cladding, mid band, brickwork joints, glazed bricks, suspended brickwork soffits and more.
This scheme was shortlisted in the London Construction Awards under Residential Project of the Year category in September 2024
