Extensive portal frame and part conversion of a 60’s office block into a state of the art pathology laboratory over two floors. Complete strip out, modification and refit of office accommodation; installation of a new mezzanine in-situ cast concrete floor, alteration to existing warehouse cladding to insert extensive windows. Fully climate controlled blood sampling automation room, cold stores, Keista Lab systems, Autoclave, CAT 3 Lab, automated molecular rooms, cytology data entry and screening to full HTM compliance.
Successful completion of the scheme led to the negotiation of three other laboratory fit out’s within existing hospital wards, all of which were created within the operational environments of fully functioning NHS hospitals.
